As you may know, we do not store any of your health data on any server, to guarantee maximum confidentiality. Your data isn't in the cloud, it is only stored on your device(s), where you have full control over it. This is why, when you download data from your hospital, when you decide to share your data with your circle of trust, or simply when you’re doing backups of your data, it is very important that you let your application synchronize, in order to send or receive your latest data locally on your mobile device.
Your app automatically starts a synchronization when you open it. However, depending on the amount of data to transfer, it can take a little while for the synchronization to complete. It is thus a good idea to regularly check your synchronization log to make sure that the synchronization is finished. To do so, go to the “More” menu in the bottom right of your application and select “Synchronization”. In this screen, you can see what data are sent and received.
More importantly, you can start a synchronization manually by taping the double arrow at the top right of the screen (or by pulling down the screen, as shown in this video).
Please note that an Internet connection on your mobile device is required for the synchronization to work properly. You should also keep your app open and in the foreground of your mobile device. You will see a log entry “Synchronization done” when the process is complete.
Good to know: you can fine tune your synchronization related settings in “More” > Settings.
