Yes, the app works offline.
You can add content to the app and view your health records without being connected to the Internet. The only functionalities that require to be online are the ones directly linked to the synchronization. You need to be connected for:
- Account creation, connexion on a new device, or change of password
- Synchronization: to send or receive new data, when you share records with your Circle of Trust, or are connected to a portal to import your data. Note that you can create a new sharing rule with an existing contact but the record shared won't be sent until you are online.
- Opt-in to a new service in the services' screen
- Viewing the community: to find people to add to your Circle of Trust
- Use the AI features
- Receive some of the notifications
- ...
NB: In the app settings ("More" at the bottom right > Settings), you can enable or disable the use of mobile data (3G, 4G, etc.) by the app when Wi-Fi is not available.
