Email verification is a critical step in maintaining the platform's integrity and ensuring a safer and more reliable user experience. Amongst other reasons, verifying your email address prevents the creation of fake accounts and makes sure Andaman7 has a trusted mean to reach out to you (for example, for password reset emails).
We also need to make sure your email is indeed yours before we add you to our community and allow you to add people to your Circle of Trust.
That is why the app will ask you to validate your email address upon registering.
How to validate my email address?
Simply open your email inbox and click on the validation link in the email you have received. Then go back to the Andaman7 application and click "Next" to finalise your registration.
What if I didn't receive the validation email?
- First check that the email didn't land in your spam folder.
- If you still cannot find it, click on the link "Didn't get the email?" in your Andaman7 app check that the email address you entered is correct.
- If the email address is misspelled, you can modify it by choosing "Change email address". You will then receive a new email to this address with the validation link.
- If your email address is correct, try hitting the "Resend activation email" button.
