Although it is clear that any relationship can end, Andaman7 does not allow for the "remote deletion" of already shared information. Andaman7 works here like paper or emails: once information is sent and received by the recipient, it is impossible to "unsend" it (just like it is not possible to get back sent and read emails or destroy paper remotely). Additionally, it would be too intrusive for the tool to modify information remotely on someone else's device.
Such a feature was considered, but since nothing prevents the recipient from making different types of copies of the information, the primary purpose would be rendered useless.
However, if you wish, it is of course possible to stop the sharing of any new data at any time. For this, refer to the section "Subsequent modifications of the sharing" in the article How to configure the data I share with someone in my Circle of Trust?
You can also ask this person to delete your record from their account.
So, when you share information, remember that:
- All information already shared cannot be "unshared."
- The sharing of new data can be stopped at any time.
