Your medical data is personal and sensitive data that belong to you alone. They are your property and must remain under your control. To ensure maximum confidentiality and security for our users, we have chosen a "peer-to-peer" approach for our Andaman7 application.
The choice of this model implies that your medical data in Andaman7 is stored only on your smartphone and / or tablet, as well as on the mobile devices of the people with whom you might have shared them (see How do I share my files with other Andaman7 users?).
What does that mean?
1) We do not store any of your medical data on our servers
Our servers only contain data in transit between two devices at a time T (never your complete record) and we do not keep any trace of this data. The only data kept by Andaman7 is your basic credentials.
2) Your data is not stored in the Cloud
Storing data in the Cloud poses significant privacy and security challenges. So we made the choice not to store the data of our users in the Cloud. This way, your medical data is and remains entirely under your control.
3) It is your responsibility to back up your data
