One feature of Andaman7 is medical document management.
But, unlike other “general-purpose” document management systems, Andaman7 adds a “medical twist”. You can set a category for your document, for example, exam result, blood test result, prescription, financial document, and more.
You can also specify the subject matter (cardiology, dermatology, etc.), related provider, and care facility (see the illustration).
These additional “qualifiers” are very useful as they provide the ability to filter and/or sort your document list by criteria. This tool is helpful when focusing on a specific problem area, if your list is getting long, or when facilitating discussions with your specialist doctor.
And don’t forget, all your documents are stored on your phone, so you still have access to them even if you don’t have an internet connection.
All documents can also be shared automatically and easily with your close ones or your multidisciplinary care team.
